This is new to our site and is going to be a collection of thoughts, uplifting words, and feelings, hopefully from a variety of people.

God holds us in His arms, cares for us, holds us up and we are His. This feeling of belonging is what people are looking for. We want to belong.
1 John 4:4 NIV You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
We are a part of a family, and that is what we have at First Baptist here. We care about each other and share praises and prayers from our lives. We uphold each other, and when someone hurts, we hurt for them. Are we perfect? GOOD HEAVENS, NO! We are a work in process. No one is perfect. As the saying goes "Only one Man on earth was ever perfect, and He was crucified."
We, as Christians, try to grow in Christ-likeness but are not perfect. We make mistakes; God knows. We try again...
